The auction items will be split between a live auction and silent auction. With a live auctioneer, you’ll enjoy a fun show and can participate in either, taking advantage of some great deals on professional services that you probably need for your business. Here’s how it works:
1. BUY A TICKET
We haven’t set a date yet but will soon. If you’re interested in buying a ticket, please contact us! Tickets will be $20 per person, which gets you unlimited drinks, food, and you can bid on anything you’d like!
2. BID AND WIN
Whether it’s the silent auction or the live auction, the highest bid wins. We’ll have a lot of great services from very talented professionals (and items) so make sure to keep bidding. With all the proceeds going to the charity, it’s worth it!
As you come in, you can register a credit card with our auction helpers. When you win, they’ll keep track and charge you after the event (they’ll call to double-check with you). Or, you can settle up with them as you leave.
4. RECEIVE WON SERVICES
If you bid on items like paintings or gift cards, you’ll receive those won items directly at the event. If you won services, you’ll receive a contract and contact card for the creative professional that you’ll be working with. Usually the professional will also be at the event but if not, we’ll pass on your contact info to them so that you can arrange the services you won.
5. CHARITY GETS PROCEEDS
After the creative professionals get paid for any costs they have, all proceeds from the auction go to the charity – this is where the business and creative communities come together for something truly amazing!
